Big Rich Energy is a collaborative musical project started by Richard Westreich MD. Dr. Westreich's musical influences include 80s metal, Classic Rock and Grunge. Specific influences range from Alice in Chains to Dave Matthews to Bon Jovi, amongst others. These various influences can be heard throughout his music: imagine those artists writing songs together and you get Big Rich Energy.
The primary driver during the writing process is acoustic rock, lending a distinct sound to his songs. From classic rock to country, you'll hear many different stylistic variations, which are picked to match the theme of each musical piece. This project is being done solely for the love of the music with no commercial goals in mind. All proceeds will be donated to charities that support artists and musical education.
